DEB HANEY
A lifetime of travel and collecting anything old, odd, and unusual evolved into creating one-of-a-kind jewelry, folk art for home and garden and mixed media collage and acrylic paintings that are inspired by my home at the ocean, my "second home" in California and my world travels.
I have been selling my work at shows, galleries, shops and fundraisers on the East and West coasts and in artisan shops for many years.

INSPIRATION
Always on the lookout for unusual pieces in places like Italy, Morocco, Bermuda, Aruba, England, Turkey, France and across the US, Canada and parts of Mexico, I never get bored with the hunt! I may keep these objects for years until they decide what they want to become! Up-cycling and recycling are also a passion and challenge i enjoy.
ABOUT
We raised our family in the Victorian city of Melrose, MA where I became a part of the growing art community, participating in many shows and events there.
My yearly perennial plant swaps and love of gardening led to the creation of garden adornments and wind chimes.
Our family homestead in Melrose MA is now home to our younger family members, while we are living a dream at the oldest public beach in USA near Boston. Looking out at the ever-changing ocean and weather has been so inspiring.
It is an honor that so many artists and creative people are drawn to my work. I am grateful for their support. and yours.
